A tribute to "more filled-out" girls

There's a reason why guys don't play with Barbie dolls. Think about it. Why would we want to bother with trying out this cheap piece of hard plastic in different sparkly dresses, cowboy boots and hats, hula skirts, and made-for-TV hairstyles? We have no use for any of those things. When we're cold, tired, lonely, or sad, do we want to snuggle up on the couch with a Barbie doll? Not a single one of those newfangled fashion staples will make us warm and happy when we need it the most. Snuggle with a Barbie doll? No way! That California beach bum can have her!

Instead, we go for our favorite stuffed animals. They fit in our arms just right, stuffed to perfection, made to be hugged and squeezed. We curl up and hold them tight, and soon we feel all warm and fuzzy again. That's what makes us happy.

An event warranting another golf-post

I came out of hibernation to announce that all is right with the world today.

You may remember that I've been pulling for Lorena Ochoa for a long time. She finally won her first major today at the Women's British Open at St. Andrews. This makes it all worthwhile.

Viva Lorena!
